My friends and I are attending LFW again in a couple of weeks and I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of shoes to take with me. We’re going to be out almost all day so I need something stylish yet comfortable for walking around and standing in queues in. This is why I’ve opted for chunky heels and platforms.
1. Melissa, peace wedge £45, nonnon
2. Jeffrey Campbell, O-Quinn $185
3. Yes, milky way $215
4. Jeffrey Campbell, Busted Sold out in most places but I’ve found a pair in my size on ebay for £125, not really ideal but we’ll see.
5. UNIF, Salem boot $190, solestruck.
6. Jeffrey Campbell, Tardy, £125 serenza.co.uk
7. Yes, Galactic in red leather $215, solestruck
8. Vivienne Westwood Melissa £99.00 ASOS
This week I’ve been thinking about LFW and what to wear, shoes (which I will expand on in tomorrow’s post), fedora hats (don’t ask me why), origami inspired details and roses (I’m making designing a new applique for my winter range).
My new armoire (which was featured in last week’s current obsessions) arrived this morning and I have been rearranging the show room to fit it in. I can’t wait for the open house day to see how it all works. There’s a pic on my instagram if you’d like to see!
The date for the second Regress: into your alterego club night has finally been announced, it’s on the 21st of Feb. at club Alterego on Princess st. A Frankie Knuckles production.
This time I used an older image of myself by Mike Brown for the flyer. I was struggling to find one that fitted in with the theme and was please when I came across this one. It features wardrobe by Eustratia and Richard Ayres who will be collaborating on the fashion show this time. The theme of the show is Latex vs Metal and it will have a dark and atmospheric feel.

Music will be provided by TG Manchester DJ Jane Dalton and her alter ego, the Imperatrixx. A sample mix is available here.
Performer MisSa Blue will be completing the line up with a mesmerising performance. MisSa Blue is a London based International performer specialised in Fetish acts & Neo-Cabaret. She is infamous for -a unique mixture of styles -cutting edge themed acts and a crossover of modern art and classical show elements. She uses Candle Wax, Latex-Paint, Lace and Rubber but her biggest attribute is her stage presence and ethos of performance. It’s often sexual adult – sometimes satiric entertainment that combines the best of all styles in just one act. She has been nominated for the Erotic Award ’13 in the category ‘Best Performer’ and won 3rd place at The World Burlesque Games (Lond. ’13)
The whole thing will be documented by NVS Films.
We hope to see you there!
This week I’m obsessed with cloud lanterns, chrome painted plantpots, sequin harem pants, making costumes out of fans and owning an armoire cabinet.
This week I love blunt fringes (though not totally sure if I’m ready to cut mine back in), chandeliers (particularly these ones I just bought), huge geodes (that I’m never going to be able to afford), swarms of black butterflies on walls (which I will be putting in my house) and black candles (I think the colour would contrast nicely with my walls and also new house, new beginnings).
