Next month, to celebrate the third birthday of my label, Eustratia and officially test out my showroom I’m hosting my first open house event.
The whole house will be open to friends of the brand, models, photographers and potential customers who will be able to view and try on samples, preview the new collection, talk to me in person and find out about upcoming projects.
Regular Eustratia models will be available to talk about wearing latex to those who haven’t tried it before or would like to know a bit more about it.
Our friends from VAUHAUS will also be in attendance with beautiful new faces to introduce and a guest photobooth by Toria Brightside, agent and chief photographer.
Richard Ayres will be showcasing his bespoke chainmail accessories and visitors will have the change to see it in person and talk about about commissions.
TG Manchester promoter Frankie Knuckles will also be making an appearance for those who would like to find out about future events.
I will be inviting creatives that have collaborated with the brand over the last three years, local models, photographers and industry people as well as a few magazines but the event is also geared towards potential customers who want to find out more about the brand or latex clothing in general. Please get in touch if you can get to Manchester and would like to attend. The address will be available on the Facebook event page and there will also be transport available from Piccadilly train station at 2:30pm to bring people to the event if they are not local to Manchester.
I’ve been inspired to create a pastel image set with with tribal influences for nearly a year now and finally had some free time to play around. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to use some of my new Bodyjewelleryshop.com pieces in a shoot.
I love trying out new types of body jewellery and the items featured in this set are some of my current favourites.
Pink synthetic opal ball which I just slot into one of my large septum rings.
Blackline internally theaded disk.
Iridescent crystal labret stud.
Clear glass plug.
Most of these where sent to me by Bodyjewelleryshop.com (which was super nice of them) but I also included a couple of items from my personal collection, as I do use their site frequently.
To complete the look I added an oversized jewellery set I made myself out of latex, faux pearls and flowers. Though I make stuff nearly every day, I still enjoy putting together costume pieces for shoots and shows.
The flower harness and stripey bralet are part of the upcoming spring range for Eustratia and should be on sale in the near future. I’d love to know what you think of them!
You see more of my modelling work on my page and the images were taken in my home studio, where we will soon be hosting shoots and model days, by Richard Ayres who has also just finished a fantastic headpiece that will feature in one of our shoots soon.
I’ve decided to keep the current obsessions post going for a bit longer and see how they evolve.
This week I’m obsessed with lingerie and how to store it, ombre nails and making interesting, healthier deserts. I also really love this set of modern matryoshka dolls, I’d like to make something similar for my house.
This month Rebelicious have featured Vivi Sterling as their cover girl! Vivi has recently joined Vauhaus and was photographed by Toria Brightside, wearing Eustratia for the cover story.
You can read Vivi’s full interview and the rest of the mag here.
As she mentions at some point in the interview, you can expect more projects from us in the future! We’re currently in the early stages of planning studio day where aspiring models can receive coaching, styling and great photos in a comfortable environment, which equal amounts of support and fun.
Details regarding the wprkshops and the first Eustratia open house event, coming soon. Spaces will be limited so if you’d like to be the first to find out be sure to join our mailing list!
The holidays are over and everyone’s starting back at work. Why not cheer yourself up with a new outfit or even just some cool accessories to freshen up an existing one.
Both men’s and women’s clothes are in the sale as well as the majority of accessories are on sale so make sure to have a good look through, it might be your last chance to buy at these prices.
Eustratia is making changes for a more professional and business minded approach this year and hopes to bring you a lot of exciting work.
