In the past, I probably never would have thought that pairing a t-shirt with a pleated chiffon maxi skirt was a good idea but recently I’ve been updating the categories I mentally assign clothing to.
I wanted a comfortable but striking outfit to attend a friend’s birthday drinks and this was definitely a hit.
The wedge trainers perfectly marry the contrasting elements and the accessories add the right amount of edge.

Every so often, I feel compelled to create some images of my own. It could be to experiment with a new hair or makeup look, find the right setting for a new product I’ve created, or bring to life an image that popped into my head.
This time it was “all of the above” and I shot a couple of images featuring my “Freya” crop top, moth necklace and butterfly head piece.
I also shot a new image for the “moth girl” t-shirt, as the previous one didn’t really inspire me.
I continued the set with a set featuring my dog, Charlie, which I will post next time.

This week I’m obsessed with inky fashion illustrations, cut and paste and pastels on the catwalk. I also trying to work out what my interpretation of this season’s statement necklaces is going to be and what my favourite srtawberry tart recipe is so I can use it on my birthday.
