My dog, Scamper won’t pose for a photo with me but loves getting in the way.

I’m looking forward to some more sunny days so I can get some wear out this jumpsuit I found on ebay. I don’t usually wear such obvious prints but it’s really comfortable and cool.

Aesthetic Contradiction on Facebook

I decided to bite the bullet and make a new facebook page to share my inspiration, outfit pictures, favourite products and all creative work, not directly associated with Eustratia.

outfitsI also have an “Aesthetic Contradiction loves” section where I feature my favourite people to collaborate with.

favouritesThe page can be found here and I’d love to connect with some of you guys. If you have a facebook page for your blog, let me know and I’ll check it out!

Gloss and fuzz

The latex swing skirt is one of the most wearable items from the Eustratia SS 14 collection and I wanted to incorporate it into a more casual daytime outfit as an example.

The outfits I’ve featured on here have been predominantly black so I chose the translucent pink skirt, firstly to add a bit of colour and secondly because I love the way you can see the legs silhouetted beneath it.

I’ve always loved combining textures and I think faux fur/feathers look great with latex or patent leather.

Unfortunately by the time I got round to photographing the outfit it had started to rain so you will have to excuse my hair.

Eustratia Spring/Summer ’14

The Eustratia S/S “14 Collection is finally complete and I’m really pleased with it. It will be making its catwalk debut at Manchester fashion week on Saturday and the products will be added to the online store over the next few days.

The collection consists of 8 outfits, in varying levels of wearability and extravagance, but with a consistent embodiment of the essence of Spring.

I also made the backdrop myself and will try and remember to post some info on its construction soon.

Thanks to Richard Ayres for shooting this for me.
