This week, I’m trying to decide what shade I actually want my hair to be. I’m inspired by mysticism, nature and monochrome textures. I’m looking forward to having a few days where doing my make up properly is actually important during fashion week. I find it counter-productive to bother with every day as it cuts into my working time and isn’t great for my skin anyway.
Things have been a bit quite on here this week due to having a new house to decorate and shows to organise but I’m going to be posting more news and FAQs soon. I’m also thinking of doing step by steps posts showing how I decorate my house and where I found my furniture etc. so keep an eye out for those too.
This week I’m in love with my new Eustratia pockets mirrors and excited about getting new body jewellery to try out. I’ve been trying hard to find the right sofa and the best way to make silver lips look good (I’m going to be a robot in the TG Manchester show at the end of the month). I’m also sort of missing my fringe. I have a couple of shoot ideas I’ve been meaning to try all year and I really need to get round to them soon, everything seems to be moving along so slowly even though I’m always busy.
This week I’ve been mostly obsessed by this middle image. I found it on pinterest under dream closet and was instantly drawn to it. It looked really familiar and I realised that’s because it’s like something I would have in my shop, if it existed. I actually have a lot of similar items planned for my new house.
This week has also been about experimenting with colour in my make up, horse-related shoot inspiration and finding these boots that always seem to be sold out in my size. The tree light unfortunately isn’t available for sale but I’m on the lookout for the next best thing.
This week has been about waterfall braids, chandeliers and Louis armchairs, all with an underlying element of frustration at unobtainability. I did get a bargain on some Wildfox earrings though so it’s not all bad.
This week has been about practical hairstyles, flattering make up and powder blue nails. I visited LFW which I will write about in a separate post. I’ve also started preparing for the cold slightly. I bought a new leather jacket and started looking at wintery home-ware.
