Eustratia gifts sets 2013

For the last couple of years I have released a series of mini hampers containing a variety of fun, discounted items.

This year I decided to go for something a bit more refined and chose a gift box with a window which looks good ad can also be used to store small items.

I have put together three different boxes to suit different styles and budgets.

The “Aria” gift set is the most fashionable of the batch and if the most suitable for combining with non latex items for a stylish yet edgy look.

It costs £50 and contains a T-harness (available in black or white, standard size fits uk sizes 8-12 but custom sizes can also be requested), a pair of latexlace moth earrings (available in in black, white, grey or rose), a necklace (styles will vary as there are not many left), a bow cuff (any latex colour), a pocket mirror and two mini bath bombs.

It can be purchased here.

At £45 it contains high waisted halter hotpants, bow earrings or pasties (please specify), perspex necklace (styles may vary), pocket mirror and bath bombs .

It’s available on the site, here.

It contains bow panties, pasties (or bow earrings if you don’t wear pasties), a necklace, a pocket mirror and bath bombs.

Purchase yours here.

Buying your gifts from small, independent designers is rewarding because you get a unique item that has been hand made or put together with care and attention to detail. There is a much smaller chance of getting your loved one a similar gift to what someone else has got them so they will hopefully cherish your gift and feel special. The seller or designer also appreciates your purchase a lot more than a large company with millions of sales, you are helping them survive in a hard economic climate and, in the spirit of Christmas, making their holiday season a happy one too.

The Katzenjammer club show

Last month I put on a fashion show at the Katzenjammer Club a new, vibrant and interesting cabaret style night in central London.

I would like to thank The Roustabouts, who put on the night for having me and my gorgeous models for doing the outfits justice and putting on a great show. They are:

Amy Statik, Maxine Anastasia, Cici Von Crypt, Blondie, Biomechanina

I’d also like to thank Richard Ayres for loaning me the headpieces to use in the show.

There wasn’t anyone there to film the show but my friend took a little video on her phone.

Home shooting for Rebelicious

I’ve wanted to set up a mini photo studio in my house for a few years but never really had the space until recently. A few months ago I bought myself a simple lighting and backdrop set up and decided to try out shooting from home.

Aside from product shots which are really useful for my business, I also shot some model product shots with the help of my boyfriend, Richard Ayres, also a designer who frequently needs shots of his new items. The first shoot we need was very casual but we still got a couple of nice images.

natural 2headpiece smallglasses sideWe put slightly more effort into the second shoot, used an outfit from my Persephone lingerie range as well as the headdress Rik made me for my birthday and the latexlace cat ears and ended up with quite a sleek set.

flowers 1smallflowergirl2smallflowers4 smallflowers3smallWe shot this set around Halloween so I did a fun version with a drawn on cat nose as well.

catI was quite please with the set overall so I decided to send it to Rebelicious magazine and they published it alongside a short interview.

I also used one of the image to form the basis of the Regress flyer and the new Eustratia pocket mirror.

VAU VAU Part II: Fashion Circus, the show!

Toria Brightside knows how to put together an event. Vau Vau was good last year but it was evident that the concept had been ironed out at the edges and the execution was more professional, while still remaining fun and full of character. A fashion show promoting sense of style and independent designers.

I got help with the stall because I knew that I would hardly have a change to be there.

1385979_10152283658513868_57482695_nThis is my mum in a latex blazer. I think it suits her.

One of the designers pulled out at the past minute, giving me the opportunity to showcase a few pieces from my upcoming non-latex range, Vanguard. I used chainmail pieces by Richard Ayres to add edge and detail to the outfits and I thought the worked really well together.

My favourite part of the show was still the finale though. The dolls house, created and erected by Richard Ayres was used as a backdrop for the whole show but was only functional for the finale. A lot of guests commented on the fact that it puzzled them for the whole night and I liked that added element of intrigue.

The presentation and subsequent range was inspired by dolls and the show started with a pair of models draped in sheer fabric (evoking a dust sheet), as if they had been left in a forgotten room for a number of years.

The second pair of models appeared from inside the dolls house in much more current but still doll-inspired outfits and proceeded to uncover the first set of models before walking down the catwalk.

The rest of the models emerged and descended at regular intervals. Two held ornate trays filled with dried petals which the scattered along the catwalk as the went and rest carried vintage bird cages, hanging off poles and filled with fairy lights and flowers or ivy.

My girls had Make up by Jack Tyson and nails by Vamp.

Models in order of appearance: Tessa Burton (vauhaus), Lauren feather (vauhaus), Vex Ashley, Bethany Lauren (vauhaus), Jennifer Joint, Amber Dennet, Briony rose, Harlotte Wonderland, Asphazia, Biomechanina.

I especially loved the magical video by NVS Films, it really captured the atmosphere of the show.

Candy Latex, pop and pastel colours.

For the past couple of weeks I’ve had a temporary intern helping out at the studio. Today was her last day and she was looking through my product pictures album, telling me about the product she liked, when I thought it would be a great idea to get her to write a blog post about them. I think comparing the items to sweets was really clever and hope that she has an awesome time living and working in Berlin for the next few months.

I don’t usually feature posts by others but if you guys enjoy this, let me know and I will look out for other potential guest bloggers.

Candy Latex, pop and pastel colours.

Hi, My names Iasha Masood, and for the past two weeks I’ve been an intern at Eustratia, I have had an amazing two weeks here and got to see so much of the upcoming collection which you should all be super-excited about! I’ve learned so much and I’m so grateful for this lovely experience so I wanted to write a guest post about some of my favourite products from Eustratia! Now for the products!…

Some of the Eustratia products look good enough to eat.  You shouldn’t eat latex, but in this blog post I’ll show you why I get hungry looking at some of Eustratia’s sexy designs!

candy latex

The first piece is the Candy stripe bra in these delicious colours; it’s a playful and bold piece which can show off your fun side. The striped design actually accentuates your figure by making you appear taller (and look like a yummy piece of candy!) whilst the style of the cups gives an impression of a bigger bust.  Over the years the Red white combination has been used so much, not just in lollipops and candy but it’s used for Valentine’s Day because it symbolises romance and sweet feelings.

The next one is the super sweet Bow bra, in Bubble-gum pink and light blue the colours look so yummy you could lick them! The bow bra is a simple bra featuring double straps and a design that helps to give a more pushed up look to your bust. The colour scheme is used a classic pastel combination famously used in those fizzy cola bottles that we all loved so much.

Saving the best until the last the mirror dress is one my favourite pieces. It’s a stunning flattering design featuring a reflection of a beautiful fantasy scene with butterflies, flowers and trees. Finished with Eustratia’s signature unicorns. A truly marvellous unique piece this one is not only stunning but its colours are absolutely lick-able featuring bubble-gum pink, mint, and yellow it almost look like you’re a pretty piece of wrapped up candy! This dress has hours and hours of delicate applique work done on it and is just one of the unique pieces from the reflections collection.
